A Quick Introduction

I'm Scot Conti, a Denver real estate broker at West + Main Homes. A little about who I am, what I cover here, and why I started writing.

I've been in Denver since 2008. Before that I lived in New England, San Diego, and spent a few years in Vail. I've lived in enough places to know that Denver is genuinely different — and that Northwest Denver, specifically, is one of the better places to build a life in this city.

I'm a broker with West + Main Homes, an independently owned Colorado brokerage. I specialize in NW Denver — Berkeley, West Highland, LoHi, Sloan's Lake, Sunnyside — and the suburbs that connect to it: Edgewater, Wheat Ridge, Lakewood, Arvada, and Golden. I live in Berkeley, so I'm working in my own backyard most days.

Before real estate I spent twenty years as an architectural photographer. That background shows up in the work — in how I think about presenting a home, in what I notice when I walk through a property, and in the way I try to communicate clearly rather than just enthusiastically.

What I cover here

Mostly neighborhoods. Each one in Denver has its own character, price behavior, and buyer pool, and I think that's worth writing about specifically rather than in the broad strokes you find most places online. I'll also write about the market when there's something worth saying, and about the buying and selling process when I can add something that's actually useful.

I'm not trying to publish constantly. When I have something worth reading, I'll post it.

If you want to talk

You don't have to wait for a post that's relevant to you. I'm reachable at 720.780.9519 and happy to have a real conversation about where you are and what makes sense next — no obligation, no pitch.
